Brocade FastIron CX系列是高性能、可擴(kuò)展而且靈活的企業(yè)園區(qū)接入交換機(jī)，可以在緊湊的機(jī)型中實(shí)現(xiàn)下一代融合應(yīng)用。FastIron CX系列交換機(jī)有24端口和48端口兩種型號(hào)，支持PoE和PoE+，可以大大提高網(wǎng)絡(luò)邊緣的性能和智能水平。

Brocade FastIron CX系列交換機(jī)可以提供當(dāng)今企業(yè)園區(qū)網(wǎng)所需的更高性能、可擴(kuò)展性和靈活性。利用多種先進(jìn)的功能，這些交換機(jī)可以在靈活的1U機(jī)型中向網(wǎng)絡(luò)邊緣提供高性能和智能，幫助降低基礎(chǔ)架構(gòu)和管理成本。

FastIron CX交換機(jī)可以通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接同時(shí)提供電源和數(shù)據(jù)傳輸功能，從而為園區(qū)邊緣設(shè)備提供了一種單線纜解決方案，這些設(shè)備包括Voice over IP（VoIP）電話、傳統(tǒng)IP電話、監(jiān)控?cái)z像頭和無(wú)線接入點(diǎn)。

24端口的FastIron CX交換機(jī)可以為每個(gè)端口提供Class 3（15.4瓦）或PoE+（30瓦）電源，而48端口型號(hào)可以為每個(gè)端口提供Class 3電源或向26個(gè)端口提供PoE+電源。這些交換機(jī)可以同時(shí)為PoE和PoE+設(shè)備供電而不超出交換機(jī)820瓦特的功率預(yù)算。
供電設(shè)備的即插即用式運(yùn)行
FastIron CX交換機(jī)可以支持IEEE 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol（LLDP）和ANSI TIA 1057 Link Layer Discovery Protocol-Media Endpoint Discovery（LLDP-MED）標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，可以幫助企業(yè)部署可互操作的多廠商解決方案，實(shí)現(xiàn)統(tǒng)一通信。
LLDP和LLDP-MED為配置、發(fā)現(xiàn)和管理網(wǎng)絡(luò)架構(gòu)提供了一種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、開(kāi)放的方法。這兩種協(xié)議可實(shí)現(xiàn)網(wǎng)絡(luò)運(yùn)行的簡(jiǎn)化和自動(dòng)化，進(jìn)而幫助降低運(yùn)營(yíng)成本。

更低的功耗
